BEYOND THE BIAS

Our organisation was created in the midst of the first Covid-19 lockdown and we witnessed, day by day, the growing damage and struggle within our community. We began to work closely with the individuals and groups in society who were often sidelined or forgotten.

 

Our priority reaction to the pandemic was to work towards providing ways to unlock mental health barriers and expand potential careers for those most affected. We provide young, working class people, from Black and Global Majority (formally known as ethnic minority) backgrounds with a platform to have a voice, gain opportunities, qualifications, resources and follow their passions.

 

With cuts in youth services and limited free possibilities for young people of colour to shine, we strive to create spaces, opportunities and events for these amazing young people, with the goal to better their well-being and future development in becoming the leaders of tomorrow.
