Did you ever just sit in your high school classroom and doze off?
Yeah, we all did.
Beyond the Bias designed 5 posters illustrating incredible women in our world. We created virtual paintings of Frida Kahlo, Malala Yousafzai, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Maya Angelou and Laverne Cox, complimented by their quotes to inspire and motivate the next generation of young people.
We led this project after finding out that it was common for teachers to spend their own salary on decorating and buying resources for their classroom. As educators are integral members of our society, nurturing the minds of our future leaders, we knew we had to give something back to those who shaped us!
These posters, along with stickers and stationery, were distributed to over 50 schools around the UK, from London to Leicester to Leeds!
