Girls Who Skate
Our Girls Who Skate programme was a unique, 35-week initiative designed to empower young females and non-binary youth, aged 11-17, by combining mental health awareness with skateboarding skills.
World Environment Day
Young people at Beyond the Bias go beyond daily to look after and care for our world by reinventing everyday objects with recyclable materials, refurbishing old community gardens, talking to the elderly about climate change and learning more about what we can do together to make a difference.
Back 2 School Giveaway
We created a giveaway to support working-class ethnic minority young people transitioning to Secondary School this year.
Summer Arts Camp 2022
During Summer of 2022 we delivered our Summer Art Camps at Bellerive House in Isle of Dogs. Our camps consist of two 3-hour sessions per day, four days a week for the duration of 4 weeks, throughout July-August.
Wembley Mural
In partnership with a school in Wembley, we delivered a 3-day art workshop to empower young artists.
Our Young People at the 2022 Commonwealth Games!
Beyond the Bias, in Partnership with Wapping Youth FC and Wapping the in Community, invited 12 young people to partake in a 3-day residential exploring camping life, engaging in nature activities and watching the commonwealth cricket finals.
Yoga for Teens
Beyond the Bias held weekly yoga sessions to provide a space where young people could learn about wellbeing, mindfulness and practise yoga, while earning a Level Three Reflective Journaling Qualification.
The Pottered Pieces
Our group pottery session aimed to encourage and stimulate both our attendees mental and physical selves.
Kids Who Code
Kids Who Code programme was an intensive 40 hour coding project that opened doors to the world of technology for 17 children, aged 7-12.
